QUENTIN FRANCOIS architecte HMONP
Mr Quentin Francois is a registered French architect with extensive international experience. He earned his Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from the Ecole d’Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires (Paris-Est) in 2005. Following his graduation, Quentin embarked on a transformative nine-year career in China, a period marked by cultural openness and rapid economic growth. During this time, he worked with renowned global firms, including Zaha Hadid Architects, Valode & Pistre Architects, ZPA Zeidler Partnership Architects, and MAD Office, and SURE Architecture where he became a senior partner architect.
Returning to France in 2014-2015, Quentin navigated the challenges of a fluctuating job market by collaborating with various local architects. This period enriched his knowledge, exposing him to a diverse range of projects. His six-year tenure in Mayotte provided him with unique insights into tropical architecture, sustainability, and the technical demands of building in regions affected by seismic activity and cyclones, where construction costs are significantly higher than in mainland France.
After different experiences, Quentin leading projects across Asia, Europe, and Africa. His innovative approach to conceptual design and sustainable architecture has been central to the firm’s success and its reputation for delivering projects that are both visionary and grounded in real-world execution.

Founded in 2023 by Quentin Francois, AQA, Agence Quentin Architecte, base in Dordogne and Mayotte, is committed to developing responsible architecture that meets the balance between humanity, the city and the environment.
With international experience and working on various programs and scales, AQA is involved in projects in its entirety and typically provides comprehensive architectural design and consultancy services throughout the construction phase.
Our design skills and capabilities extend beyond architectural services to include interior design and master planning services. As an architect of diversity through the variety of our projects, we operate mainly in France, Mayotte and abroad.
